Even if I do say so, she makes some wicked buns!!!

They tend to have stuff on site at bardney or used to...

You won't go near a McDonalds on the way to Bardney as I recall the nearest one you would be miles away from it, its on outercircle road Lincoln.


For people coming from the south and up the A46 its just off the A46 at South Hykeham opposite Pennels garden centre

McDonalds

1) Just off A46 as the Lincoln bypass is approached from the South.

2) Just off the A46 at the northern end of Newark, where the A1 junction is.

I'd be happy to meet at either or maybe both !!

PS On the Saturday I will also be bringing a couple of helicopters, which I would like someone else to fly to check them out.

Any heli pilots going on Saturday ??

1) Just off A46 as the Lincoln bypass is approached from the South.

2) Just off the A46 at the northern end of Newark, where the A1 junction is.

I'd be happy to meet at either or maybe both !!

Problem is Steve will approach from the north A15 I suspect

But I know where Bardney club is and I can meet at Number 1 any coming from the south and then lead you all onto Bardney...

what are they ? flybar or flybarless ? I.C or electric ?

note: Bardney club does not let no one without a BMFA 'A' hover a heli solo you need to be on a buddy lead as I recall...

note: Bardney club does not let no one without a BMFA 'A' hover a heli solo you need to be on a buddy lead as I recall...

Helis are:

1) Thunder Tiger Innovator MD530 electric with flybar.
2) Align Trex 600 electric with flybar & scale Ecuriel body.

I am perfectly capable of hovering both of them, but have never had any connection with bmfa.

I can recommend the burgers they cooked for us at Bardney in April!  They made us very welcome and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. 

I'm sure they won't mind you taking your own food to heat up if required too.

I fly helicopters and can test them out for you if you wish (assuming mode 2?).  I may throw my little Blade 450X in the back of my car too. Great little helicopter that!

PS. I have my BMFA A certificate in both Fixed Wing and Helicopters, so there shouldn't be an issue there :)
