Did a lot today,
Fitted the servos, receiver / transmitter, laminated and then covered one of the wings in this rather striking pattern.
Have a friend who works in a sign shop who printed this for me. At the time it was a but of a laugh which I thought I would regret. Now I love it  ;)

I`m going to be running a 1250kv motor on 4s, I`m looking for flight time and stability. Is 8x6 a good place to start?

Looks pretty cool to me  :) Takes me ages to find things and something like this would certainly help, Given me an idea on one of my future builds  :D

still toying with idea's - rather than intrude on clipped wings blog i'll put some ideas down here before i build mine. I'm torn between single tilt which seems simple enough or making the whole front end tilt.....  Looking down for me makes the experience just that little more immersive.

Rhino is what I use.
Trouble is I don't use it much, so keep forgetting how to use it properly - especially going from 2D to 3D !

But, when I do remember,  I do enjoy using 3D to physically check the 'fit' of the components of a designed assembly.

I taught myself by making loads of generic rc parts... but yes, if you don't keep on top of it you soon suffer the skill fade.  It has to be the easiest software to use for 3d applications IMO... and simple to export to CNC
