Nice maiden apart from your mix up with the Vector wizard. Just as well you didn't launch in 2D mode like I did or the maiden would have been a tad short!

It went up at a similar angle to yours on launch lol, as in near vertical for a couple of seconds  :laugh:  Glad I copied your motor choice, it was a good one  ;D  Hopefully we'll get some good weather at the end of the week when you're back. Do you know if your FPV stuff has turned up for yours?

 I've rerun the Vector rx wizard, charged up the battery and am ready for another flight tonight  :D   Hopefully no more 2d inverted-backward-nose down brown pants stuff lol.

  I got another opportunity to take the Mini Talon out again last night. This time I had my rx and vector reading from the same page  :laugh: :laugh: Didn't do anything too spectacular, I just tested out the 2d modes, return to home and felt my way out to 2.1km. Everything worked well, and no dramas.
  There are a couple of vector things others more experienced with them may be able to help me with, in 2d hold and therefore in RTH too it kind of bobs up and down a bit, this may be because the talon likes to gain altitude and the throttle level is causing it to climb?? The other oddity is that in 2d no hold it turns a bit to the right, the artificial horizon is in the right place and if you disengage the stabilisation the plane flys hands off, true and level. Anyhow overall it all good  ;D  The video does get a bit dark but it flys for so long that the sun went down during the flight lol.

 Cheers, I did say to myself I wasn't going to fly under that tree as catching it wouldn't have ended well with a fairly weighty plane(this one is supposed to be for serious FPV lol), but then the tree is there.... :laugh:

Had another go on mine last night and the maiden will be next week or the weekend if I can get the antenna's on the VNA by tomorrow. With pan and tilt she's 1.7Kg with a 5800mAh 4s  :overexcited:
