Major disaster! Steve broke the soldering iron!

Stopped play for a few days no worries as we have to wait for the camera anyways.

We were ripping through getting the vrx housed and wired up as well. ;D

7x7 apc prop for the win, 5 min flight at wot and battery it only slightly warm, screams around! Covers so much ground so fast!

Also moved my battery back 1cm and its flying much nicer with less up in it.

homebrew heith robinson style 5.8 receiver casing with homebrew skew planer thingy :)





5.8 receiver module used as per earlier in the thread, soldered up to a phone doowap and a single cell lipo in the case for power.

nice one splashy, cracking little plane isnt it... did you go for the 5.8 gear like us lot?

It is certainly a very little plane. So small in fact that it flew in right under the delivery radar. I did go for the 5.8 gear have been using it on my mini quad.

Not sure that I will use the little receiver modules though .. if anyone wants one then just let me know, I already have several of the 305 receivers.

Just got to find some free time to build it.

I've just ordered one of them as well. Ir was my birthday and was given some money that i was told to buy some toys with! I'll have 2 nano cameras for my 5.8 gear now :D

Which servos are you using? I had a couple of 9g servos that I thought I would use but on checking it states 4.5g servos. There are quite a few of these available. Which ones are you using.

Hi mate, I'm using Tower pro MG90S but I had to cut the poly a bit, I just had 2 lying around, thy work fine.

Excellent. That is what I have already. Pleased that I can use them, just was not sure about the weight . don't know how critical it is on these planes.
