Best weekend flying I've had for a very long time & it was great to meet other FPV'ers at last, what a cool club - thank you Bardney!! Just a real shame about Ian's poor X8.

I recorded a few people's flights on my ground station so I'll edit some good bits & post it.

Also Simon (Team FTP) I hope you got some good footage of my Zeph in the air today, I'll look forward to seeing it!

I echo the sentiments of everyone who went, fantastic club and great to meet some usernames even if I did forget everyones names immediately

Here's hoping the X8 turns up safe and sound, it's a great looking bird.

FPV meets 3D - FPV Meet Bardney Sept 2012 - Eagle Tree OSD / Keycam #16

Thanks to the Bardney Model Flyers Club for hosting an excellent weekend of FPV flying. Great to meet a number of the guys from FPVUK.org and see some of the great kit on show.  Thanks Flyn for capturing this OSD video with your ground station!  I'll be in touch matey!

This video was taken on Saturday afternoon and shows me flying FPV with my Graupner Rookie as the Bardney Chairman Andy Gedney puts on an excellent aerobatic and 3D show with his Edge 540. Great flying Andy and once again many thanks for yours and the Bardney's hospitality.  Look forward to see you again in 2013.

Yep was an awesome meet!!!

Got some footage of the zephyrs flying, would not say it is great but good at least. Best bit was following the Piper Cub, pretty much up it's ass!!

10am till around 3pm

Right over 20 miles driven

loads of Farmers ploughing now have my phone number including some Farm mangers who has his game keepers on the look out.

Walked more than I care to mention as well, so many white carrier bags from a distance a flick of white off to look and nope.

But hopefully anyone stumbles across it they'll give me a bell

Top fella Mark.... have a Karma on me

(I reckon it's gone to FPV heaven and is still floating round up there !)
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days lived

Top work Mark.

I'm starting to think

a) it's buried in a bush somewhere really obsecure (sods law with all the nice flat fields around!)
b) it's somewhere else completely .. the wind was pretty high on the ground, god knows what it was like up there. Last frame showed ~600 foot high at 30kmh, in ABM mode it could have gone for a while I reckon.

Fingers crossed

Hi there. I know a farmer who has found an X8 DELTA WING on their land over at Baumber(about 9 miles from Bardney). I did a bit of detective work and found this forum via google and saw a member has lost one at the weekend. If the owner(or someone who knows them) would like to contact me via email [email protected] then I will put you in touch with the farmer. The model is being stored in his garage, so it is safe. If the owner would like to give a small donation to our village church fund, as a thank-you, that would really be appreciated!!!
Kindest Regards,
Crystal
