Those mini cameras are definetly the way forward for racing, I've got my eye on one of these...

but am trying to find a cheaper option as I have zero play money.

Devonian

Simon sells 'em

I modded mine to take a decent lens and made a wee little 'pod' with 5.8GHz VTx + camera etc..

Nice fined Steve, I don't think you will fined cheaper.

Thanks Si, even cheaper again...ideal.

Does being PAL or NTSC matter for us? The PAL one is out of stock.

bignose13

All depends what recorder you use, if it's mini dv tapes like me forget it, but if it's straight onto a memory card or hard drive it don't matter

Thanks guys, its not easy to get going, take off is really bad, it wants to dive on acceleration, so it needs up elevator at the launch, until it is up to speed, and I can't throw with my left hand, so I got to get on the sticks quick.
it is twitchy, but I'm sure it can be tamed, it flies beautifully LOS.

Regarding the nose dive on take off. had this problem with my wing  If you cant move the motor down physically you can try adding some downthrust ( e.g  point it downwards ). Depending how its mounted some washers under the mount screws or bolts would do.

I found I had to point the motor at the centre of the wing section where the c.g is. I find the nose will now lift on takeoff so I then need a bit of down elevator at full speed. ( Just be testing my new wing you see. Hope to get some photis etc soon)
