The two that are in the pipeline at the moment are a very small wing ( a plank equivalent of a 250 ) and the Cloud Horizon that's designed for endurance and even slower than the Skywalker!

My assumption is you're looking for something more like the Venturi Evo that's fast and agile?

looks like next Friday I will order Venturi Evo. Your setup is Turnigy SK3 1250Kv + Graupner 9x6 prop on Venturi?. what you think about  OS OMA3820-1200kv outrunner motor and Graupner 9x6 prop. The power setup from http://www.flyingwings.co.uk comes with APC 8x6 Elec Thin propeller. What you think is better Turnigy SK3 1250Kv + Graupner 9x6 prop or OS OMA3820-1200kv + Graupner 9x6 prop. is your prop is and can you tell me wich servos you use? Hitec HS82MG Servo is good?  Thanks

It's a good motor / ESC setup, same motor as used on the ZII and good for 100MPH. The SK3 1250 I used is nowhere near as good, I was disappointed with the punch but was impressed with the efficiency, for the next one will use either the O.S. or a Scorpion.

Prop-wise I'd go for an APC 9x6, they're efficient and strong.

For the servos I use Hitec HS645MG analogue servos as they're low noise and great quality. Whatever you end up going for make sure it's a standard size servo, the HS82 is a bit too small.

Never had a problem with receiving fake servos, TBH I just buy from eBay.

I've never bought that many, they're strong enough that when I write off a plane I just cut the servos out of the dead plane and transplant into the new one.  ;D

The MFD doesn't provide a regulated 12v. You'll need a 12v regulator for the VTX if you're running a VTX that can't take <>12v.

They're not exactly the listing I buy, I get them in bulk from China but the listing above is the same module.
Note you need to put them on a supply that's outputting > 12v and turn the little potentiometer until you get your desired voltage, I usually put a little blob of hot glue on the pot to stop it moving after setting it.

Once you have the module you can either power the entire MFD / Camera / VTX from it by plugging this into the supply of the MFD or just power the VTX from it.

From a BEC, the Turnigy 3A low RF BEC is great. The MFD won't power the 5v rail directly, it just passes it through from any pin to any other PIN. When you connect the ESC to the MFD only connect the PWM signal wire, not the ground or 5v, then use those pins not used to provide 5v and ground from the BEC.

Camera-wise I use a PZ0420. FlyingWings have some in stock so when you order everything give them a call.

Hmm, two different SK3 3542's! They are different in construction so maybe a revision. If you look closely the 21286 housing hangs the other side of the motor mount from the prop whereas the 80685 hangs on the same side of the motor mount as the prop. Both shafts are theoretically moveable but this is a gamble with HobbyKing stuff and given their figures are usually made up I would base my purchase on whether you want the body of the motor to be on the same side of the mount as the propeller or on the other side of the mount from the propeller.

Is anyone running this with a folding prop?  Thinking it might be nice for high speed dives.

Never fitted one though so not exactly sure what I need! (I've got the Zephyr 2 motor)
